Introducing Shadow Tracker, the complete GPS tracking solution that does not require Internet connection, nor monthly service fees, and is not limited to cellular coverage reach.
Know where a vehicle was, how long , how fast, when.

Do you ever wonder
where your outside sales reps are?
Is
the mileage you are paying really used for business travel?
Is your company car
being used for business?
TravelEyes2™ is
a fabulous record-keeping tool for business owners, independent contractors
and individuals who need support to document their taxes, mileage and billing
time.
The unit automatically
gathers miles driven on a daily basis, maintains hourly billing records and
produces comprehensive reports on all travel activities
TravelEyes2™
receiver is smaller than a deck of cards. It's small size
(2" wide x 3.38" long
x .98" high) and
it's light weight (2.8 oz.) make
it ideal for concealing inside any vehicle.
What
are the benefits to implementing a GPS tracking solution?
Everyday you manage your office personnel by monitoring their progress from project to project. So why should your field employees be any different? The Jr. allows you to manage your field employees while assuring fewer incidents of employee time sheet abuse, unauthorized vehicle and equipment usage, and much more.
One of the easiest examples of how a GPS tracking solution can help your organization save money is evident in potential fuel costs savings.
With the price of gas being what it is, who isn't trying to save a few bucks at the pump these days? While we can't do anything about the price of gas, we can provide you with the tools to make sure your mobile workforce is driving responsibly.
Gas
mileage decreases rapidly at speeds above 60 mph. Each 5 mph you drive over 60
mph is like paying an additional $0.10 per gallon for gas. Observing the speed
limit is also safer.
Fuel Economy Benefit: 7-23%
Equivalent Gasoline
Savings:
$0.10-$0.34/gallon
An
organization can save on fuel and maintenance costs by monitoring employee
speed. There are associated reductions in vehicle maintenance, tire duration,
decreased risks of insurance or causality losses related to reductions in
unauthorized use of vehicles.

Use
of the vehicle and equipment to render
services
not reported to the company.
Assuming
a service company charges $70/hour in service performed outside. Just
one hour per week would recover the cost of the unit in only five weeks
of unauthorized use, by forcing technicians to report unscheduled jobs. This
is without accounting for materials and equipment maintenance costs.
Usually
the service is performed at a registered customer’s address. The company
looses revenues and on top pays the cost of the service call.
Delivery of goods stolen from Your warehouse
Usually
this involves delivery of merchandise leaving the warehouse without a lading
bill. The system will be a strong deterrent against this activity, and will
let you easily detect it without the need of hiring costly human surveillance.
The drivers are assigned routes and the system will recognize addresses. Regular stops at a non-scheduled address are highly indicative of foul play. Rotating drivers routes or areas in a bi-monthly basis, exposes this activity, with the use of the GPS vehicle tracking system.
The graphic below is a screenshot of the travel map produced by the software. The route line is color coded to indicate the speed the vehicle was traveling during the route. The mapping software will allow you to zoom in and out on the route.

A
red “X”
on the map indicates stops on the route. The user can obtain the time and
duration of the stop by simply clicking on the “X”.
Is
your employee going too fast or not fast enough?
You decide!
Is
your employee making a work related stop?
You decide!
The following is an example of the Daily Travel Report. By default, the location name will appear as an address range. The user can mark locations on the map and give the locations a corresponding name. If the vehicle stops within a user-defined range of this location, then the report will list the marked location name in lieu of the address range.

In the sample report shown above, Office and Coffee Shop are examples of marked locations.
Was today a productive workday? You decide!
Which
unit is right for me?
Each
model in the product line offers many different features. The
descriptions below will help you select the right one for your particular
fleet management needs.
Jr.
Unit:
The Jr. Unit has a built in GPS receiver. The unit stores route information while the vehicle is traveling in the field. Once the information is collected, the device is downloaded and the software generates reports about the travel of the vehicle.
The device has a variable setting that determines how often the unit will record location information. This setting, referred to as the “Collection Rate”, determines the number of hours of travel the unit will store information. We have included a chart that indicates the approximate amount of driving hours that the unit will record at each setting. Please keep in mind that this is actual driving time. While the vehicle is sitting still, the memory capacity of the device is not depleted.
Performer
Unit:
The Performer Unit has a built in GPS receiver. I have included a chart that indicates the approximate amount of driving hours that the unit will record at each setting. Please keep in mind that this is actual driving time. While the vehicle is sitting still, the memory capacity of the device is not depleted.
The Performer Unit is also equipped with a motion detector. The motion detector allows the Performer Unit to help filter stray coordinates that may occur due to irregularities in the GPS signal. As a result, the Performer Unit is a very reliable and accurate GPS tracking device.
Pro
Unit:
The Pro unit has a built in GPS receiver. I have included a chart that indicates the approximate amount of driving hours that the unit will record at each setting. Please keep in mind that this is actual driving time. While the vehicle is sitting still, the memory capacity of the device is not depleted.
The
Pro unit is also equipped with a motion detector. The motion detector allows
the Pro Unit to help filter stray coordinates that may occur due to
irregularities in the GPS signal. As a result, the Pro unit is a very reliable
and accurate GPS tracking device. The Pro has 2Mb of memory (twice as
much as any other model), making it ideal for customers with vehicles that are
away from the base station for extended periods of time (up to two months).
For companies desiring a greater degree of data accuracy, the Pro unit
features a switched power detector for even more accurate reporting. The
Pro unit is differential ready giving it the ability to correct certain
inaccuracies inherent in all GPS signals.
New Premier System (RF):
The units perform automatic data download when within range from base. The base station recognizes units belonging to the system and automatically downloads data from units returning to base.
This is the ideal solution for fleets of up to 30 vehicles, where removal from the vehicle is not desired, or for fleets that return to base at one time, eliminating the wait for manual download (about 2 minutes/unit).

The
2000 Unit (RF):
The 2000 system is comprised of two major components: The 2000 Wireless Base Station and the 2000 vehicle unit. The unit in the vehicle has a built-in GPS receiver, and has the capability to transmit data over a 900 MHz frequency.
The base station at the office is a modified PC connected via the serial port to a transceiver. The transceiver is connected by a coax lead to a pole mount 900 MHz antenna. The base station is a dedicated server. The base station extracts and processes data and may not be used for reporting purposes. The reporting software is available in both network and non-network versions and operates on your client PC.
The 2000 vehicle unit records a coordinate every 10 seconds while the vehicle is moving. This is done through GPS technology, and there is no range limitation for this process. This information is used to produce the Travel Map and Daily Travel Reports. When the vehicle travels within a 1/2 mile, the stored information is transmitted to the base. This transmission is automatically performed. The base station then verifies the data received and sends a signal to the unit indicating it may clear its memory.
Real-Time information is transmitted over the same 900 MHz frequency: When vehicles are in range, the system will provide updates on the vehicles in one-minute intervals. The Real-Time range on the system is line of sight from the base station up to 22 miles. The software will produce vehicle location updates in one-minute intervals. Line of sight obstructions, competing frequencies, and other items that are outside of our control can reduce this distance. As a result, we cannot guarantee any distance on Real-Time data transmission.
This system offers a hassle free means of keeping track of your employees. Transmissions are performed automatically via the 900 MHz spread spectrum frequency.
How
are vehicle units Installed?
The unit is typically direct wired to the fuse block. This means that the unit is constantly connected to a power source. This eliminates the potential for tampering with the product by disconnecting the power source. If the device power is disconnected, then this will be indicated on your daily travel report. The unit is normally placed underneath the dash of the vehicle.
The antenna for the unit is an active patch antenna measuring approximately 1” square by ¾ deep. The antenna will normally pick up a signal through plastic and glass so it can be mounted underneath the dash in most vehicles, but the optimal placement for the antenna is on the roof of the vehicle.
Installation is typically performed by our customers and is estimated at 10 – 20 minutes per vehicle.
The
Download Process
With the exception of the 2000 and the Premier, the units are manual download devices. The download process may be performed by connecting the device to the PC in your office, or by extracting the information from the unit in the vehicle with a laptop computer or Palm® device.

Q
- How can I afford NOT to use the GPS control system?
A
- The GPS vehicle control system pays for itself in many ways, including
substantial improvement in the efficiency of your mobile operation, greater
field productivity and better customer service. As a result, it's hard to
justify a decision NOT to invest in on.
We
also offer a personal/individual logging kit that includes a GPS receiver,
